Thought I'd follow up and say that I apparently do not put enough details in my plot points like I originally assumed, just what happens. Take "The Blind Owls" as my example. Usually character interactions like dialogue and actions are left out of my outlines, but put into storyboards and typed in lines on some document (not technically a script in my opinion), and I soon realized, that's how my arc grew longer than I had planned, cause I do make stuff up as I go along, especially with dialog.
Still, it's working out, though I had to drop a few things, or rework them for a later episode (for example, Bennie was going to get accused of killing, but I didn't feel there was enough recognition and empathy developed for that character yet, so dropping that bit was better, for the length too, cause it's far longer than I'm comfortable with, and I'm just booking it to the end.
I still got the climax/resolution to hash out, and that tip of the Friar Chicken story iceburg "The White Order" will be finished!
(and as my past self had bragged, I gotta start making 3d assets. Can do that easily on break, which means easier workflow on bg, yay)
