How do YOU art?

I do everything in Clip Studio Paint/Manga Studio with a Wacom Intuous, the only time I use traditionally is for sketching stuff away from home. I do my art this way because I've had the same tablet and software for 3+ years and the same computer since 2011, so the cost of me doing art is almost nonexistent. Ink and markers are expensive and scanning is time-consuming.

But I'm in the writer hell cycle; Think of a great idea, get hyped, think of another great idea, rinse and repeat.

Just make a story and finish it, it doesn't have to be good. Ideas aren't important it is execution. Everyone has great ideas, but even two stories with similar ideas can come across in different ways.

For my comics, I sketch the thumbnails on paper, take a pic with my phone and finish the rest in clip paint studio.

For illustrations I usually go full digital. I draw everything in CSP and then tweak it in Photoshop.

My preference for drawing is digitally but I do like to draw on paper whenever I feel like it. I use Clip Studio Paint for almost anything art related.

For my comic, I like to sketch out my ideas in a pocket sketch book in, literally, stick man form (cause I get a lot of ideas when I'm at work). Then I make a storyboard of those ideas in CSP, add panels, ink those storyboards, then add the necessary final touches before I upload it. Then I realize I made a grammar mistake or forgot to color a certain object and have to secretly change it before anyone notices. >v>" Rinse and repeat.

i use notebooks only for doodling, even stopped doing that recently and began to doodle on my mobile.. more practical

Schedule:
my schedule consists of 2 things

my comic updates twice a week, with 4 pages per update.. i work full time 6 days a week on it to finish 1.3 fully colored pages per day (i really love working on my comic D)

/Input:
it's simply my free time and breaks.. when i read other artists' comics, interact on the forums and buzz around on Twitter a bit

I use a drawing tabled and old paper and pencil, and do not have an scanner or a good camera, so I just use photoshop and tons of filters to make it look neat.

I like to work traditionally. Nothing like the feeling of drawing and coloring on paper! I create about 1 page per week, kinda slow I know but oh well. I post every other week currently but in October I can switch to posting weekly again!
During pre production, I coordinate with the writer and create thumbnails for his script. Once everything is all planned and approved I start work on the actual pages. My process is pretty standard. First I pencil in the page, then I ink it, color it, and finally I add in the words digitally. I scan after each step is complete. that way I have the pencils and inks archived. After all, once I finish a page I cannot ever revert to the previous stages. Everything is pretty much permanent. I made a time lapse video of my production process. It looks like I did it in one sitting but really that was a whole week.

I draw Magic Advisor in Gimp. I usually take photos of myself that I use as reference for poses and expressions. I also take photos around my home town of stockholm that I use for backgrounds. I don't have a tablet unfortantly so I draw with the mouse or I sketch things up and scan them
