I agree with dawgofdawgness - reference and practice is always good.
If you have an object where you want that someone to sit on, I recommend drawing that object first though.
It helps to prevent it looking like the character is sitting on air :slight_smile:

Also, for more angles you an simply use yourself as the model, with a big mirror in front of you, or asked somebody to model for you.

...Of course you could cheat and put your character behind a desk...

The best thing you can do is look online for references and practice the pose. Just use Google and you'll find everything and anything.

use 3D dolls if you have CSP or have some knowledge on other 3D apps.
you can also use any action figures you have laying around to your advantage ; )
and of course, you can simply take photos (if you don't have a volunteer, you can take photos of yourself using a timer)
