How do you encourage your readers to leave feedback?

I'm not a fan of straightforward "please like, subscribe and leave a comment" tbh, but as any creator I want my readers to show some activity, otherwise it feels like publishing to myself alone. I wonder whether there are any ways besides just begging for it 🥲
