How do you feel about spoiling your own story?

I avoid spoilers, but drop hints and foreshadowing in my comic.

That way, plot twists will make sense in hindsight and eagle-eyed readers who noticed such hints will have fun making theories.

well, I kind of gave big hints in the art I post on my board about the twist in the first season of my series (Don't read further if you want spoils) in character designer and color pattern about Thokath being the blood king. A big factor in my series is when magic is in use it can temporarily change fiscal appearances. mostly hair and eyes.it differs. but here is the art both with Thokath in them. so you can see what i mean by colour.

I let people in the comments have their own assumptions about the plot. I like hinting and foreshadowing stuff and might drop a minor spoiler here and there. Usually in places where I know not many people will read that. xD

i just write a lot of foreshadowing. i never do spoilers in my books. i dislike when people tell me the spoilers of tv, books and more. i want discover everything myself.

My audience is free to ask me any questions about my story, but that same audience knows I may not tell them the truth on anything so my words can only be taken with a grain of salt. I have blatantly spoiled stuff for some people.

I spoil a lot but dont really care at this point because im not sure if the story is gonna be finished anytime soon and just knowing some people might be interested in the characters alone makes me happy. So far I've revealed or posted characters who do not appear until the 3rd timeline because they're my favorites and I spoiled the big person behind the character's setting in one of the impression's threads before :"D.

Well, I try my best to NOT spoil it, because some readers may lose motivation in reading it. Plus, I also don't like spoilers, so I tend to not spread spoilers myself. Although anybody can ask me questions about my work like "What was your motivation into writing this?", or "How did you think of everything in your novel?", I would definitely answer them, but if the questions would lead to spoilers, I wouldn't answer them, of course. However, I kind of like secret hints or points in stories wherein it isn't really a spoiler, but rather, kind of like an easter egg.

I spoiled a look and an upcoming character in my story in a crossover page I did. Just something for my readers since I'm in a boring part of the story right now.

I'm really bad about hiding spoilers XD I know it's better for the readers to hide them in a lot of instances, and in other instances it could make them more intrigued, so it's plus minus really. I can always tell when a spoiler I've mentioned has made someone lose interest though, lol. Taking things out of context as a reader is often bad too with spoilers. Since something in story context may be really cool, but just told at random may confuse people and make them lose interest.
