I've recently been struggling with this as well and just found the following solution that has been working well for me:
I had a slightly different issue, but I found that my digital sketches were too messy, partially because I still have poor pen pressure control and thus many of my sketches were too.. thick, I guess?
I've found that by using a thin brush with pen pressure (size) off, with opacity set a little below 100% (~85%) and pressure opacity turned on, I've been able to get my sketches much neater and closer to my traditional ones! The semi-transparency allows me to get down the basic shapes/skeletons down without being too visually striking, but the pressure control allows me to lay down the lines I care more about more strongly, and turning pressure size off just... helps my incompetent butt not make things too thick and unwieldy xD
These aren't exactly comparable to one another, but basically before my first pass would be this thick overly gestural mess than I would have to usually go over 1 or 2 more times to get details in properly:
But now I've been able to build up to the details relatively cleanly in a single pass. I've been super digging this new approach!
For your sketches in particular, the line weights don't seem to be a problem, but you may consider playing around with opacity settings and see if that helps? Best of luck!
