How do you get your comic to be read more?

Lately i feel my comic is not being read at all.

Just keep uploading on schedule, advertise on social media, and participate in the forums. That's the only formula I know.

Welcome to Tapastic.
Getting people to read your comic is a pretty complex process I must say.
We all are trying to do the same thing really.
It involves tons of different techniques.

The ones that helped me along the way:
- Draw for yourself, don't expect views or feedback right off the bat. You should be happy to produce content for itself.
- Be active in the forums, genuinely answering questions and participating to events. This is a great way to get to know the community.
- Read other comics on Tapastic and interact with creators. Just getting interested in other people's work will launch a positive motion.

Down_the_Rabbithole and Jrej have great advice. Just be patient and keep updating. It's a bit slow right now with people being back at work/school and getting back into their daily groove. As cheesy as it sounds, stay positive, keep drawing and enjoy what you're doing. Don't focus on view count, focus on your art ^_^

I'm also sort of new kinda? And what I've found is:
-Like Jrej said, "Draw for yourself", you do you and your comic's traction will develop over time
-Advertise on social media, to your friends and on your threads on the forums (psst, check out mine, wink wink, Jim's Days)
-As Down_the_Rabbithole also noted, keep a regular schedule for updates in order to let the readers know when exactly to expect your posts
-Engage with your readers in order to have them coming back to your series as well as them spreading it around their circles
-It takes time to get a decent viewership, roughly 3 years from people around the forums and looking at more successful comics around the site. You'll notice that those with 1k+ views and over 1k+ subs will mostly have comics spanning around 2-4 years as well as having more than one series taking up around a simillar length of time
-Just have fun while doing it, again, you do you and things will fall into place
-Or add BL into your icon thing and make the boys kiss at some point :U That's gaining a lot of popularity lately :U

Post consistency and reader engagement seems to help a lot as has been mentioned here already. Get to know your audience and reward them with artwork from time to time. Social media is also your best friend (twitter, tumblr, Instagram etc.) And most of all, be patient and just be all around optimistic about your comic. Spread your passion for the work you do and chances are,, people will appreciate your work when they can tell that you're very passionate about what you do. :]

I'm not sure if it was mentioned yet but improving one's art will attract new people as well.
It's the most easy way to see that you put in a lot of effort.

Other than improving character art (design, anatomy) it also really shows when artists work on their backgrounds, typography and paneling skills!

PROMOTE- via social media(Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, & other platforms), tell your friends and others about your comic, post on other sites if possible. Interact with people who leave responses about your comic- if they enjoy it they may spread the word to others!
