How fresh page work?

I was going thru the fresh page and I find the a link to the cover of my comic, that I uploaded 3 days ago, and since then I been uploading every day one page. so I wanna know how do they work, why isn't there the actual today's page??? (Sorry for my english. I'm not a native speaker)

Once a day you can be on the fresh page if you upload. Also don't upload everything on one day.

I do ^^ and I found some awesome comics this way (oookay and I also browse there when I freshly uploaded a page to see how quickly it falls down xD )

I found most of stuff I read here through fresh page. xD
