How many hours a day do you draw?

on days where i have nothing its usually 8-9am-11-12pm and when i have school/work its any time before/after until 11pm

I'd say at least 2-3 hours a day. I have free periods at the start and end of school that I usually spend drawing, then an art class that I also use to draw, I then I usually draw some more once I get home!

It takes like 10 hours to finish a page... I try to finish a page each day so emm... average 10 hours a day. (who needs sleep anyway)

My most recent page took about five hours of work to complete, ignoring time to actually draw, which I wasn't keeping track of time on that one. So I'd imagine the 5-6 hour range, 30 minutes - 3 hours for a digital design, it varies a lot from design to design.

It varies... I have a set amount of pages/artwork to complete each week, and I work on it when I can. Some days 0 hrs other days 12hrs. I estimate I spend about 18 - 24 hrs a week drawing. I'd like to spend more, but I have a full time job and other responsibilities, so I do what I can

I don't keep track but practically the whole day. Maybe subtract an hour or two for eating, and 6 hours for sleep on Fri/Sat/Sun.

Mon/Tues/Thurs i have classes, art school classes, so I'm drawing even then.

Some of my friends/family get mad at me because I work more on my comic that they do at their full time jobs, and to them it just doesn't make sense that I would put that amount of time into it and get so little pay in return.

I'm a freelance artist, and a workaholic, so I average somewhere around 8-11 hours a day, every day, for most of the year. I'm trying to get better at taking breaks and giving myself time off from drawing - and I'm definitely trying to get better at not sacrificing sleep for art.

My wrist is just fine! I don't actually suffer from any kind of wrist-strain at all - possibly because I don't hold the pen the way you're supposed to, resulting in a much looser grip. Which means less strain in general. I also make sure to get up and stretch and walk around a bit a few times an hour.

I do have some issues with muscle-pains in my back and neck, but those are better these days than they used to be - I try to take a long walk every day when the weather isn't 100% terrible, which gets me away from the desk and lets me stretch my back out properly.

It ranges from 3-9+ hours depending how close the next deadline is. :'D My ideal at the moment is 4-5 hours, with enough time left over for Youtube watching and reorganising my stuff. (Live efficiently!)

When I had Summer break I was basically drawing 18 hours a day six weeks long... But now I can only draw like 2 hours on schooldays, and if I'm lucky 10 hours in the weekend. But school is quite stressful so I'm often too tired to even draw at all.

I mean, I have spent a full day non-stop drawing before, and tend to basically do that during intense times. but generally, it takes two to three hours to complete a page, and on average i do two a day. so... four to six hours?

Ha, my schedule is a mess!!

Sunday- zero hours. I haven't drawn something on a Sunday since, like, June.
Monday- maybe 20 minutes.
Tuesday- again, 20-30 minutes
Wednesday- 3 or 4 hours
Thursday- 1 or 2 hours
Friday- 4 or 5 hours
Saturday- 2 or 3 hours

and then back to no-art Sundays! I should start waking up super early on Sundays so I can get a half-hour in before my day begins, haha. But this schedule is reaaaally quite accurate. That's also why when I have dentist appointments or something on Wednesdays, my comic is always late. Wednesdays are my main comic days. XD

Every free minute I got. Even when I'm on the subway,bus and so on. I don't know how much hours I draw each day since it's different by the day.

On week day evenings I do 4-8 hour stints. On days off, I easily clock 12-15 hours. I take breaks to eat and drink but generally avoid wasting time.
