How many hours do you spend on your comic per day?

I work Monday to Friday full-time in the office, and spend my entire night drawing after dinner.

Average would be 4-6 hours x 7 days ... It is almost like a full-time job (just without pay lol)

One series already take most of my time, i don't know how others managed to work on multiple projects ar once!

For me I can finish a chapter (4 pages) in 5-10 hours but it depends on the person and how detailed your art style is.

I draw my comic in bursts between semesters, and when I do that, I'll work on my comic for 6-10 hours a day, six days a week, for a few weeks straight. I'll finish a ton of pages, build up a buffer, set it all to auto-update, and not have to worry about it again for a few months.

I should actually sit down and time myself! I work full time during the day too (you aren't seeing me post this right now! ) Then in the evenings, I usually work at least 2-3 hours. Then maybe 4-6 hours per day on weekends.

It's probably the equivalent of a part time job. I think we should give ourselves more credit for the time we put in!

I write and draw comics full time so my schedule is going to be very different but I’m also a little faster than average.

I wake up at 4:45am and study and practice my hobbies until the sun comes up (7am) and i walk for and hour usually writing ideas down and reading.

At 8 is when I sit down, turn on the radio, and actually work on pages and I’ll usually be inking til around 5-6pm with maybe an hour n a half break total for meals and chatting with my husband.

Right now I’m a little distracted though because I'm waiting on some sensitive family news on the phone.

But on average I’m shuffling pages around for probably 8 hours a day. And for the past few weeks I’ve been inking 15 pages a week

Yep, 4-6 hours x 7 days sounds right for me too. I have a full time job as an artist at a studio as well, so art is my entire life. 6_6 I'm working from the same chair for like 16 hours a day most days. I need to go outside!

I work on mine whenever I get a chance. I work a full time job, but try to spend at least a minimum of 4 hours on my comic at a time.

It's probably around 8-12 hrs per week if I add it all up. But I kind of want to ramp up the amount of pages I make a week to build a better buffer...

I actually don't track myself that often XD.
If I'm not distracted and I focus on the comic page, while also taking breaks, it would be like 10 hours/2-3 days or more.

It wildly varies. At the beginning of my first comic a few years ago I was basically treating it like a second part-to-full time job, but I couldn't maintain that very well.

Nowadays it depends on the day and what I have going on.

Mondays usually 0 drawing because I do a game stream after work.

Tuesdays I try to spend a couple hours if possible but I don't always feel like it.

Wednesdays is Art stream, so min 2 hours, sometimes longer.

Thursday I play D&D with friends so usually no drawing.

Fridays are wild cards, I try to get a few hours of drawing in like Tuesdays but don't always feel like it.

Saturday I do another art stream, so min 2 hours then and usually a few more hours later after a break.

And sundays have been highly variable lately- My family has been requesting my help with various things a lot lately on the weekends, so my sundays have mostly been completely spent on that and little-to-no drawing gets done then either

So the short answer, I guess, is 0-4 hours per day, averaging at 2 when I do work on it and 0 when I don't. Notably I work full time outside of these activities so that's where most of my time goes.
