How Many People Are On Tapas?

When I first came on the forum, I expected my questions to be drowned out by all the other questions, but surprisingly, the forum isn't flooded with questions. So this just made me ask the question, "How many people are on Tapas?" Btw, I heard somewhere that there are more readers than creators on Tapas (I think).

According to this post Tapas has over 50,000 creators so I imagine if you add readers to that (while also acknowledging overlap) it's quite a lot.

Now if you wanna get all fancy about specifics, counting active versus dead accounts, suspended accounts or duplicate accounts (multiple accounts run by the same individual but for different content types like original versus fanwork) then maybe the numbers could get a bit more fuzzy but it's still a sizeable amount of folks

On Tapas? Probably a shit ton.

On the forums? A handful of creators that want to be social and a few readers that managed to stumble here. There isn't exactly an in-your-face way to get to the board, and forums aren't something for everyone anyhow.

I'm glad I can actually keep up with the forums when I want to.

Yeah the forums only have a fraction of the people on Tapas and it's mainly creators here.

According to Wikipedia, Tapas had 5,000 creators in 2015, and this Forbes article says that in 2018 Tapas had over 2 million monthly users (https://www.forbes.com/sites/robsalkowitz/2018/03/08/digital-story-platform-tapas-builds-big-audience-with-bite-size-content/#7c2b64a94612). So there's a lot more people in here now.
