How many subscribers do you get when you just started posting (1 week vs. 1 month)

How many subscribers did you have when you just started posting during your first week vs. your first month?

For my comics which I currently post on Webtoon, for Tapas I'll be posting my new comics soon once I already have a lot of buffer.

These are all new comics. I took a break for months before I started and created these new comics of mine with a different new improved art style and story telling style.

One is Romance | Comedy which for the first week got 75 subs and now first month a total of 360+ subs. I don't know if this stat is good or not lol.

My other comic is Fantasy| Action| with some Romance but my main genres are fantasy and action. I got for the first week 30 subs and now first month a total of 80+ subs. I was thinking of maybe changing the genre since Romance is more easier to gain new subs whether if I update a new episode or not.

My third comic is Romance | Fantasy which has a total of 100 subs during the first week and in a month a total of 400+ subs.

So those are my stats during my first week vs. first month.

My first week of being on Tapas, my Fantasy Action Romance comic got about 10 subscribers. By the end of my first month on Tapas I had about 175 subs. Hollow has been running on Tapas for about a year and a half now, and I'm up to 1,491 subscribers, and it looks like I'll totally hit 1,500 before Hollow's two-year Tapas anniversary, which is exciting!

I've been posting for too long to feel like clicking enough to get to my first wekk stats (since weekly stats here are just daily but limited to 7 days)
but my first series (bl, mature enough to be off app) got 60 subscribers in it's first month (aug 2018) and it's currently got 3,204 subscribers
second one (fantasy) got 68 subs in it's first month (sep 2019) and it's currently on 1,023
and third (bl, also off the app) one got 495 in it's first month (may 2020) and is on 1,869 right now

Zero. ha! Both, weekly and monthly.
I started at january this year, but started recieving subscribers at march.
The third week of march I received 3 subscribers,and at the end of the month I had 8.
Right now I am at 50 (and making some math, I have lost 4... for those 4 ex-subscribers, I don't know who they are... but I will find you, and you will pay! ಠ_ಠ)

Everything depends on your genre, how good looking your work is, how well written, and of course, how good you are in social relationships to be able to sell your thing. In my experience, Webtoons has always more viewers and subs than Tapas, but its harder to interact with people, while Tapas is the best for talking and recieve feedback.

On Tapas, the only people who subbed are friends but then none organically for several weeks.

On Webtoon, however, considering how inconsistent I am with my posts because of adult things, I'm already over 100 subs for a collective 3-4 months of posting. (just about)

But I also have a lot of problems besides scheduling: lack of decent backgrounds, black and white instead of color, felt like I was being rushed to produce something...the beginning is a mess but people seem genuinely interested in the story so I'm hoping that saves me in the end.

(ep 22 vs 133 is because I switched VP on tapas to 2-pages per week while webtoon version stayed on 10-pages episode per month schedule)

Also, with those numbers, how much revenue do you have? Does it matter a couple of more subs at that point?

It's around 2-3$ per month on tapas and nothing on webtoon - my monthly us views are 2K for BDSM Boys and almost 800 for Vampire Prince - nowhere near 4K required for ads
(most of what I make on comics comes from patreon)
I know how it sounds, but those are not big numbers here on tapas

Yeah, I am aware of the tapas numbers, didn't know how much they differed on webtoons. So yeah, more views will make a difference for you, at least on webtoons xD

And to think that without our work, sites like this would be without material to show... ah, the irony of capitalism.

Well on my first week on webtoon I got around 10-15 subs the first week and in a month I got like 30-45. On tapas however I got 1-3 subs the first week and in a month i got like 5

Hmm, I was around 250 in my first month. Nah, I think 25-26 days. And around 50 in my first week I guess

I started publishing my series on April 2. In my first week, I gained 4 subscribers and after a month, I had 14. Now, after 3 months, I have 25 subscribers. I recently made a Webtoon account and started cross posting my series there. It has been up for one day and as of now, it has 0 subscribers (obviously. I'm a complete newbie to the art world!).
