I have a little over 40 subs and 1.1k views and I've been posting since June, so overall I would say it's a slow climb. But I expected it to be.
I consider it a good week/update when I get one or two new subs right now.
I get the distinct feeling that this is certainly a game of patience, best won with persistence.
Don't give up and keep posting and eventually things will have to pick up.
I think especially early on its still possible for a comic to be abandoned, but a comic that has posted regularly over a longer period of time is more stable, and I think that stability could also be a draw for new readers later on. There are dozens of cool stories posted every day here, but how many of them will last? I think this also factors into people who are featured on the site, which without fail seems to drastically improve readership.
Also, have you been promoting your comic on other sites? Like other social media, or with friends irl? There's no shame in asking people to check out something you created. The more people who see your work, the more people who could potentially become readers!
Tldr: just keep going! Its going to be slow and boring for a little while, but later it will almost certainly get better.
