Nice to meet you @KennethLopezJr921
Scamp is def cute and sounds badass at the same time!

Yea my current project is heavily inspired by Shonen-
It follows two brothers who start at the bottom of the fighting food chain when they meet others who share their symptoms:

By default, they can infect any mammal based lifeform so that's sort of a strength against other skilled opponents. Reducing the opponent into a feral zombie-like state.
Without revealing too much, there are a handful of people also present on the island, heard the Hum- became carriers and display efficient skill in their special abilities. Most aren't nice guys either, infecting innocent humans is fair game. So the brothers are forced to learn quickly or die. There's one carrier that can remote mind-control civilians and force them into the brothers (good thing Owen turned off that tv in chapter 3  )

Evan- This early in the story his techniques are very unpolished and has little knowledge of his capabilities.
He can calcify his saliva to form various melee weapons. In calcified form the weapons are near indestructible (think diamond). At this point, he lacks knowledge to craft more efficient weapons. With his brother's help via Fuse he learns to make adhesive substances and explosive bubbles.
Evan's style is based on the rogue and light swordsman class. He lacks physical strength vs other opponents and makes up for it with his quick reflexes. He was a former track and fielder and studied medieval sword techniques in his youth. He's also been doing parkour for the past two years (to be revealed in an upcoming chapter).
He's no expert, he gets severely destroyed by opponents who see through his amateur skill. One guy can dissolve his weapons with ease. He lacks range in combat. Unlike Owen he needs to eat, sleep and excrete, and has the basic human vulnerabilities.
Spoilertality!: Late in the story he does experience a 'true awakening' into something far beyond human.

Owen- in the beginning his gas form serves none offensive roles, in battle he works more like a ff7 Materia, fusing onto allies to amplify and alter their attacks. Anyone he successfully fuses with- he can teleport to their location and between characters. He can fly and enter porous surfaces. If wounded and he switches to gas from and back he can reset/recover his human body (there are enemies who can break this tactic). His main keep-back is his self-doubt. Most of his powers come during fight or flight response. He doesn't need to eat or sleep, his body auto-regulates temperature. In the later story another gas-based opponent inspires him, he receives some formal training - he can then teleport to memorized locations and truly becomes a beast when he starts dissolving foes. Strong winds/ Big Fans or Vacuum capability are a total nightmare for him! There exists vacuum type enemies.

Total spoiler- ancient beings exist in Sick Boy universe
Speaking of Goku, got a few ocs inspired by Ancient Gods, Vampires and Ancient Hindu Mysticism themes who can do crazy feats. One from another story is based on Hanuman, (aka Son Goku to the ppl of East Asia) XD

Sorry this got long-it's always fun to do these but hard to make 1 paragraph as it's super mechanics heavy lol.
Thanks for the opportunity and very cool topic!

Like fiteing

Haha, thanks!

The two main characters of my work are Silas Meier and Sky Lark. Silas sold his soul to the Devil in return for something priceless. He's given black magic to help him in the tasks given to him by the Devil. His shadow is a door to Hell. He is about 7 feet tall, has impeccable balance and heightened athletic skill. He's immortal but NOT INVINCIBLE. Meaning you can beat the crap out of him, it will hurt a lot but he will keep living unless you outright kill him.

Sky is a ghost, held to Silas by unbreakable chains. She floats and swims in the air. She eats souls and can separate a soul from its physical bodies.

So, this is my guy. Her name is Puzzlewuff

She’s pretty cute, and she does have a little power.

She can fly, and teleport, and she can even shapeshift!

Truth is, I don’t know if she’s really all that strong. She’s a boogeyman, but she loses half her fites. Her special technique, “Puzzlewuff kick” hasn’t even killed anyone yet. And she only has 5 moves that she can truly call her own.

Puzzlewuff kick - she goes up to you and kicks you. Doesn’t work half the time.

Feelings ray - she puts all of her true feelings into a laser beam. She has terrible aim though and always misses. Not really that good.

Puzzlewuff bite - she grows a dragon head out from her back and chomps down on you.

Anti-matter claws - she coats her hand in antimatter and slashes. Can cut through anything, even the fabric of space time.

Blow up the universe - she blows up the universe.

All of the rest of her other moves, she steals and copies from her opponents. Usually at least 3x stronger than the original, however she can’t make effective use of things like psychic powers or magic. Anything that requires skill or concentration she struggles with, so it’s not that good either. I mean, she has copied some interesting techniques, like there was a time when an ancient super being tried to erase her from existence, but she recovered from that and turned said superbeing into gold. She copied that move, as well as other moves from some of her skirmishes. Oh yeah, also she can regenerate from pretty much anything, but regenerating too much can tire her out.

I don’t really know if she could beat goku in a fite. It really depends on if she would want to play around or if she was really serious, but probably not. She’s not really that good, you see. She’s a little tough, but maybe she would lose. Goku does have ultra instinct. But she did once turn a pigeon into ultra pigeon so maybe??

Nah, Kaguyo can't beat Goku but he's still pretty dang strong. As a space pirate, he has significantly higher strength than a normal human as well as stamina. Though he's still a low level space pirate with little to no experience actually using his strength. Currently in the story, he would be on level with early dragonball or early-ish naruto. Though in reality, he is much more powerful and his power is just suppressed and wasted due to story-factors that are upcoming.

this question ha kept me thinking... I think in their actual state is not possible to say since they are spirits...

but if they were humans...
Liar: a few of preescholers can beat him
Ira: strong enough to fight a small gang
Caelis: He avoids fights but hes really strong

Though Ereeco isn't an action comic by any means, Wizard (one of the main characters) is by far the most powerful character in the comic. Wizard's abilities include: massive power blasts, teleportation, time travel, invisibility, super strength, super speed, is easily able to travel between different universes (as well as space travel), levitation, is able to make inanimate objects move, and do things for him, shrinking, and basically anything he happens to feel like doing, excluding creating something out of literally nothing.

Japhin I wouldn't say can be measured like other characters. His powers are like if you gave a mentally unstable guy a chainsaw, then yes, I guess he is very powerful? Maybe powerful isn't the right word, more dangerous and unpredictable. He has an invisible shapeshifting punch stab demon that grows bigger with every character it maims.

Himuri is from a human-like species who get elemental-based magical powers they learn to use however they want through their life. His element of choice is fire, so kind of a small packed danger we're dealing with here. In terms of physical strength, he can lift his unconscious crush which is always handy. He can also land a punch.

Sakari is a mix of a human and said species, which according to lore already makes him pretty powerful (one of the most powerful beings in the story). If only he could control his powers better and not knock himself out with them... Physically he's not the strongest. He could defend himself, but not for too long.

Taisou is an experienced killer. Normally he also could help himself with some freaky shadowy powers if only they weren't blocked for him right now. xD

Dot has the strength and speed of an average 12-year-old girl. This was intentional, because I wanted most of her strength to lie in being good at thinking/talking her way out of situations. Normally I'm all about women who punch hard and don't take prisoners, but I wanted to tell a story without resorting to violence for a change. (My readers wouldn't know this, but I actually adore writing violence and combat).

Her space suit is technically also an exo-skeleton though, so she can lift heavier rocks and stuff while she's wearing it. And it has lil' rocket boots so she can sorta fly/make really long jumps. But it's all mechanical power, and it is not designed for combat.

Nirrod ...he isn't very strong but dumb sometimes and naive.
But he is also a fire mage.
1
But also very bad at magic ...

He screws up every spell so very hard that it's becoming dangerous for everyone around him.
Until now no one died by his magic fails only a few guards got severely burned.

My battle shonen protagonist Aniro will grow stronger on his journey, but at the current moment he has a technique that multiples his power (like kaioken from dbz), creating an energy shield, and making two layers of energy around his hands to protect them and deal extra damage.

1) Pretty average for the race, but that's like higher than normal for everyone else
2) jumps very high. That's it.
3) maybe

Min-jun isn't strong when compared to most of the other characters. He has no magic, and while he's smart enough to evade attackers, he gets no proper combat training until the King takes pity on him later on in the story. Most of his power comes from his wits and experience as a private investigator, which allows him to use his companions' skill set and his surroundings to his advantage. He's all brain and a little brawn.

Shinichi has a lot of combat knowledge when compared to the average person. But the average person in my novel are also people who consume mana stones (which basically enhances a person's resilience). He'll probably break his hand if he attempts to hit anyone. He is more of a strategist and a leader (aka he orders people to do his bidding). He can beat up a pack of children on his own no problem though! Shinichi's foil character, however, is the total opposite.

Rekki Lune is.... well, you might guess it from the ridiculous sword, but she's pretty damn strong

She can throw a car and jump really high, punch a hole through concrete... that kind of thing. I'd rate her strength level as nowhere near Goku or Superman or even The Hulk, probably more around the level of The Thing from the Fantastic 4 or Spider-man without his other powers. She has reasonable regeneration, but not to Wolverine levels, and some invulnerability, but she's definitely not bulletproof and using her strength to its fullest will damage her because her strength outpaces the invulnerability and healing. One thing she does have is almost endless stamina though, a bit like Captain America, she can pretty much "do this all day". :sweat_02:

She's a pretty well-trained swordfighter; better than you might guess from her generally brash and reckless approach to fights. She knows a few different sword draw techniques, but her magic is mostly at the red end of the spectrum so all her projectile attacks lose a lot of power over distance, and take a long time to charge up. This is a weakness she's never really had to confront before now due to having such overwhelming brute force. She's used to punching her way out of problems, but now she's finding herself getting outclassed....

What happens next? Tune in to find out!

Genji Yamagoto is a former soldier and ex-cop, as such he has extensive combat training and weapon skills. Furthermore, as this story is set in a sci-fi/cyberpunk world, human augmentation is a major part of life. As such, Genji received extensive cybernetic augmentation while in the military.

If you want to know exactly what he's capable of, you can find out here:

Calliope doesn't have any super powers, but she is an amazon. Amazons can be somewhat stronger than humans, but she's not big enough for that. She is really fast, agile and has nearly super-human stamina.
Her greatest asset is her experience, and an arsenal of weapons she's proficient with. At this point, she knows how she fares in melee against most monsters and creatures, as well as their strengths and weaknesses. Being a hunter, she doesn't usually fight fair, and relies on tactics and traps to get the upper hand.

Julian isn't a fighter at all. He has some strength from being a lumberjack (despite not looking like it), but not much beyond that. He ages extremely slowly, and, had he lived a very different life, he'd definitely be much more impressive. I won't go into more detail than that, though, because spoilers.

My main character is not very strong, but he controls fire. Since there are no people with special bodies, just other magic, the average person wouldn't be able to touch him, but anyone who knows enough to attack first or sneak attack would beat him.

At the beginning, I'm doing my best to keep him pretty weak with some good potential for growth. For reference for how he scales atm, he's probably not going to get his first official W until close to chapter 30 DX. That said, by the end of the story, he'll definitely be one of the stronger ones.

He technically has a wind/air based ability, but how it actually works is that he breathes through his skin and manipulate the air around him that way.

Unfortunately, Goku would still clap him :joy:
