How to Do an Ink Giveaway

Hey guys, FeastOfNoise, creator of novels Siren of the Desert and the newly-published Mating Season here! I've been on Tapas since 2017, but I've only just gotten around to doing something I've wanted to do since the first week Siren of the Desert dropped: Do an ink giveaway.

For all the support and love this site has shown me since I joined over from Wattpad, I wanted to do something for this great community.

The thing is, I don't know how to go about doing it. A quick google search shows that I cannot gift or transfer coins on Tapas, so how does one go about doing an ink giveaway on here? I thought of paypaling the funds, but I want people to specifically spend the coins here on Tapas (I want to reward this amazing site as well).

Additionally, how are giveaways done here? Is it for subscribes, likes and the like? Or is it for comments posted on particular chapters in my story?

Any advice or suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Not sure how you see it, but you can always create a contest, like, fanfic contest, fanart contest, or any type of writing and art contest. Or you can let people subscribe and comments, then pick a random people to win it. You do you lol.

One thing you should consider is that inks can only be given to creators, so if the one participating in the give away is not a creators, they can't receive any inks, so if you do want to use inks, only creators get to get the inks, but if you use money, anyone can join.

I never knew that, thanks for letting me know! A fanart/fanfic contest sounds wicked, but I also want to include readers who aren't writers/artists as well, so I think that's an idea for the future.

So you're basically saying cash prizes are probably best on here as they are all-inclusive.

Yeah, if you want to have anyone except creators to be able to get some prize. But you can also get some alternative prize like merch or drawings something back for them if you have it, but since it's usually more time consuming and you don't always have the merch, money is usually the first go for a prize.

And so for giving a creators support,o it's basically like this. Go to the creators prfile link and just click the support button. It works on mobile or web And app.

Or go to their series and click on details.

Then scroll down a bit to see the creator and support.

If you were reading and have a sudden for to throw some inks, look for the smily drop of inks there

It also the same with web view. Just look for the inks drop on the right corner of the page.

It will sent you there

Just click on supper, and donate. You can also give some supportive message to the creators and hey can also reply back!

I'm thinking of picking winners from Mating Season's subscribers since it'll be much easier for me. I've read on the forums that Gleam is the place to do giveaways. Do you think so too?
