Imagine your best friend is now a god/goddess.
They flew over to your place for a visit.
What is the first thing you would ask?
Would you ask them to do things for you, or would you ask more philosophical questions?
The philosophical questions would be tempting, but you likely wouldn’t like the answer or wouldn’t understand it. Asking for some cosmic favors is the safer bet.
I'd ask what they were a god or goddess of. Are they like the christian God, all powerful and all knowing, cuz I'm pretty that god never leaves heaven and Jesus only ever ascended to heaven so no flying there. Are they like the greek/roman gods or nose gods where they are a god of some thing specific like lightning or love or war. And then I'd ask them if they now expect me to worship them, cuz that's wouldn't happen even if they threatened to smite me.
I'd probably ask "are you okay?" Because damn, that must be a lot to deal with, it'd probably be pretty overwhelming emotionally.
God/Godess would know what I want, and why I probably shouldn't have it.
I'd still ask for infinite chocolate though.
I'd ask them why their first choice was to fly over to my house instead of, like, visiting the moon or something.
money. I need to pay off my debt and I want to know if them spawning cash would lead to inflation if we don't keep discrete. Thus together we may live some comfortable lives somewhere away from attention, because we would be technically counterfeiters, thus criminals.
Do you still need to poop ?
Yep, i would totally ask that !
Yeah, but like, who's gonna try to arrest a god?
@AilyneGouveiaThese are important questions to ask, after all.
I literally think I’d try to treat them as normally as possible and dodge the whole topic But I’m sure I’d go more philosophical if the subject got brought up along with some cliche jabs to make them laugh.
"So, does this mean I have to start sacrificing stuff to you?"I mean, I wouldn´t do it, but you don´t know how people turn out after becoming a god.
I dont know. The god police, depends if they are the only god or in a pantheon of multiple.
"Since when did I have a best friend?"
The first thing I ask is probably why they came here.
Concept, ask your friend to teleport lost or stolen money to you, or to like... shave a cent or two from the wallets and accounts of people who won't miss or notice it and get money that way. Boom, no inflation or noticeable theft and if you get it from enough people it could easily rack up to thousands or millions.
My curiosity would not allow me to find this out and not ask a million questions. Is there an after life? Are people reborn? Do we get to chose who we're reborn as? Can we get isekaed and can we choose our world? ( Actual thought I have had and contemplated). Are there more gods or did you take the one gods place? And so, so many more.
“You really don’t have anything better to do?? God/goddess is soooooo overrated!”
Nothing, because my best friend is already a goddess
"So you finally created theory of everything?"
