My name is Brian. I am a writer looking for a decently experienced manga artist with a unique style. I am interested in making a series of one-shots to publish through my friend's publishing company. It doesn't matter to me if we work long distance. We can email and send the work back and forth. All I ask is for a consistent passionate collaborator and I one day hope to have our work become an anime or something of the animated variety. I am completely open to making a long running volumed series if that's what you want. I only draw the line at writing harem, romance or stereotypical crap. I do somewhat insist that your art style be familiar with combat scenes. Hope to hear from someone soon.

Any kind of fighting, sword fighting, not too much kung-fu type stuff. pretty much fighting you'd see in any bleach manga.

I have the first volume of a Light Novel I plan to publish, but without the illustrated pages. Nothing published yet. My friend's site is BlueTrinityPublishers.com, I believe. And not as of this moment. This is just a collaboration I hope will spawn books which will in turn, take off and we make money then.

Wow, I'm in your situation as well. I can draw characters for character model sheets, but that's about it. I am also pretty good with writing comic scripts in my own way and the most common way.

I too want to work with an artist by testing our relationships doing a oneshot and then a long volume series than can one day be animated. I've put almost two years worth of thought into my story that I am dying to start.

I'm not sure what it is you're doing now, but someone of your skill would sound like a great editor for me.
