My school is having a story writing contest and I decided to join it with my best friend the story I am writing is called the dark plan of a dark queen
In this story my MC is the second princess her name is Amani and her mother was assassinated and she want to get her revenge but I want something wholesome to happen before her revenge plan so I was thinking of a coming of age for her younger sister but I realized I don’t know anything about a royal coming of age so I have come to seek help from the pros

Using real-life sources may be a good place to start, but in this case, you may have better results if you invent your own customs and traditions for the world your story is set in. If you're writing about royalty, you're also writing about the kingdom that they govern by association, which means that a bit of creative worldbuilding will take your story far.
