Uhmmm I've been told by a lot of people that I'm ugly. Hell people in my town posted online about how I was the "ugliest kid in town" when I was a teen.

I've also been told by a lot of people that I'm attractive.

Conclusion for me: Who gives a fuck what other people think, I'm me, I wear what I like, and I post pics when I feel like it.

I don't think it needs to be all that complicated. Wanna post pics? Do. Don't wanna? Don't.

I tend to get hit on on campus by strangers so I guess I'm pretty? As someone who never wears make up I think I'm pretty average but eh

the myth of make up as the only source of beauty confuses me. (maybe someone selling make up did MAKE IT UP????)

If you're strictly a visual artist, there's zero necessity to show your irl face, or even your name. Look at Banksy for example. If you're not comfortable showing your face to thousands of strangers, you don't have to.

But OWN HOW YOU LOOK in real life, even if the internet never sees you. Haters gon' hate. There will always be critics. Shut them out if they're ragging on you for something as shallow as physical appearance.

Personally I think I look okay. I did have a very slight weight problem in my youth and am now at an ideal size so I'm proud of that at least. I have a square face with a jawline stronger than most girls I've seen so I guess I'm not conventionally attractive. I don't wear makeup or play up my looks. However, I don't mind posting the occasional pic of myself on my instagram since I think it's fine to share a bit of one's day to day life on that platform, and it can show off your personality.

I've shown my face on twitter and it can be seen on my art instagram. how I feel about my face depends on the day, but I'm generally okay with it. But if I were ever to start streaming while drawing or gaming, i probably wouldn't show my face.

one time someone said "you look like your two main characters" in reference to my short haircut and glasses and now I can't unsee it.
