I have too many story ideas to choose from, help!

I'm currently posting a romance comic but l feel like I want to start a new one that's completely different. I plan on making the new comic on a leisurely pace then upload them when I have plenty of backlog. Out of all the ideas I have, I picked 2 of my favorites but I can't choose one. I'mhoping to gather some feedback on which one is more interesting and has more mass appeal. Feed back is very much appreciated

1.) THE SLIGHTLY EVIL HENCHMAN

A superhuman can't get a job as a superhero because of her lame powers but when her family becomes desperate for money, she takes a high paying job as a henchman for a notorious villain.

Description : After a car accident, three kids must find a way out of purgatory to the realm of the living before time runs out ...and before the grim reaper captures them and throws them into the afterlife.

I think slightly evil henchman could work better as a long form comic, maybe my own personal biases though, but the premise as a whole is really nice. The character design is also way more striking right off the bat. Half Alive could actually work for a spooky short comic, though, the premise is interesting but maybe it could have a bigger impact with Purgatory's visuals rather than just writing!

Very much like the design on both of these projects. Picked first one cuz I'm a bit burned out on afterlife fantasy, and that pic for the evil henchman thing already made me smile.

hmm, that's true. I haven't really given much thought if I wanted to work on a longer or a shorter project. I'll have to consider the length too.

Gotta say I really really like your ideas <3 They both appeal to me, I'd be up to reading any of them, but I went for the slightly evil henchman at the end because the idea sounds fresh and fun to read. Best of luck with your projects <3

Both ideas seem really interesting! I just like the second one a little more because I'm a bit tired of superhero stories right now (not that the first idea is bad because it's about superheroes, it still feels original!)

Superhero can be a comic strip.
The other a long one.
So I will always go for at great and long story.

I really like both ideas. And your art! I say work on both if you think you'd be able to. I like to work on multiple ideas at once and rotate between them because I will inevitably get bored with one for a while and want a new project. That way, hopefully, I'm consistently working on a few things. Instead of failing to work on one. That's the theory anyway.

I picked the second one. For the first one, I feel like the idea might be a bit too simple in that we'd get typical scenarios like the MC having moral conflicts about doing some things. I feel like making it really striking would be difficult. But I could also see it as a comedy which could be very fun. If there's a fun dynamic between the hero and villain it could be interesting.

I'm a bit confused by the image attached to it. I'm assuming the superhuman is the bear?

The second one could be more appealing as long as the art and world building are fantastic. I like how the concept art is greyscale with some mute tones, maybe it could use a bit more since the drawing has just the character's lips painted not grey.

@GamerPrincessXI @kaiyaweird I'd love to on both of them if I could! but I don't think I have the energy for it. I guess I could work on one 1st and then save the other idea after my current projects are finished.

You could do what many people do and start the comic. Post it and it's generates attraction, then you leave it hanging like completely ghost it.

Normally i would recommend you to go for the one that motivates you the most, but if both stories interest you equally, go for the easier to implement first and when you finish the first one, or have the time/energy for working in both, start the other.

I would instantly subscribe to the henchman story! (In fact if you choose that one please tell me so I can read it asap) the purgatory idea is nice, and I like the design of the grin reaper but it feels more generic?
On the other hand the concept art for the henchman one made me smile and want to see more! It has a certain fun spark that speaks to me.

Frankly I like both, but I slightly like the Henchmen idea for the feels (and on a side note, if you want to see too many story ideas, I think I have around 25-35 at this point).
