I think you'll like this book on writing

'Sup people, just joined, so I thought about bringing a gift as a neighbourly gesture, and it's not my book! (at least this time)

I wanted to tell you about Blake Snyder's book Save the Cat, since it's got a lot of very useful stuff for writing and all sorts of other things, even if it was originally intended for scriptwriting.

For example, one of the things you'll most likely like to know about is how he explains making atractive synopses that make people want to watch a movie, and it works perfectly for novels.

So yeah, it's a good read and you can get it for cheap (and if not there's that other way we all know about), plus, the guy's pretty funny.

I got this book years ago because a writer in a film club recommended it.

I thought it was good for organizing your thoughts into writing, but it does feel a bit off seeing that Blake Snyder does not have a lot of writing credits, and the ones he does have are for things that are really campy.

Oh yeah, I got that impression too when he mentions his scripts. On a personal level it's been a prety handy tool on a bunch of stuff I made, so while it can feel a bit iffy I really have no true complains
