If you aren't aware, wishlists are the primary metric used by steam to help promote games that aren't yet released. Wishlisting a game is the easiest way to support this project, and costs you nothing.
Cosmic Construct Steam Page
A demo of the game will me made available as soon as I am able to post it. (There is a 21 day waiting period.)
Introduction
You may or may not be familiar with my comic "Cosmic Connect".
Regardless, I have taken the characters and art style of my comic an turned into into a cute colony management and simulation game. I've been waiting to get the steam page up before sharing this new project with you all here. Mostly because I feel self-conscious about advertising it like this, especially here where it is really only tangentially related.

Here is what the game looks like.

The game is a black and neon style that is the same as the comic. The player takes control of a customizable animal (or human) character. They complete tasks to eventually build up to a village full of creatures.

10 tasks are to be completed by the player over each totem rank. As the player completes them, the totem expands on the usable build area. Each species has their own has a unique energy bar. Which is why the mouse's is cheese shaped, and the cat's is fish shaped.

The player gains access to new resources, structures, and crafting options. Also, additional pawns that perform work duties.

Pawns can be individually assigned to perform jobs. They will do things requested of them, and even change jobs if their work duties can't be performed. Pawns have needs which need to be meet, and individual traits that changes their behavior. They communicate with other pawns, form relationships, and co-operate... as long as they remain friendly with their peers.
