I just can't find it. I'm terrified there was stuff that doesn't exist anymore. How could I've done that?
Oh no...That's terrible.I lost all my music painstakingly accumulated from 1995-2009 from libraries, friends etc (the old way) including never republished stuff. Still feel horrible about it, and too discouraged to get everything (that I can remember) back. I spend dozen of hours looking for a specific recording and never found it, it discouraged me so much.
So I really empathize with what happened to you I hope you'll find the most important things again. Try to do a list as soon as possible.
Maybe I still have it all on my other HD drive but it doesn't want to run. I kind of have flash-backs of all the compositions I have had there... remembering buying CD-s in a shof back in 2008, remembering friends telling, I'm weird because of the music I'm listening... some of those ands doesn't exist any more.
How you delete all this?
My PC died on me some time ago and I have had a guy to patch a new machine from some parts I am and he both have had at disposal. And I believe all my collection is still on the old HDD, but it doesn't want to boot up.
I've also lost all my songs some years ago because my sd card decide to go burning itself (and I lost literally everything there including some Pictures and a lot of files cri).
I'm pretty lucky I have half of it on my sis laptop and I need to gather more by myself, but it was still a pain. The files I lost is kind of the hard one to get back, so I just didn't.
If any of it is like anime-related, let me know. I um... have a lot.
I have a Google doc list I can send.
Well, keep that old HDD around, just in case. Even if a harddrive isn’t booting, it’s often possible to retrieve files by installing it as a secondary drive and accessing it that way.
