It's impressive as most of the original designs are already fantastic or you own it. Not removing anything from the redesign of course.
And would you mind drawing one of my characters, too? It would be Yntchéonne, one of my main characters. I don't have a drawings of him but I can describe him to you:
He is an orphan who has been living since a serious accident in an abandoned military complex, with the soldiers already occupying the premises before finding himself stuck there. He was separated from his parents because of a kidnaping operation, carried out by his uncle jealous of his brother, who went wrong. Since he lives in Z-0, this is the old code name for the complex. From the first day he arrived in the building, the former most senior officer took him under his wing and tried to get up as best he could. Her name is Vivir Jinx, and she's an alien from another galaxy, unlike other former intergalactic police officers. Very few of them come from the same planet, at worst from the same galaxy.
Well ! Come back to Yntchéonne, he is of mixed race: half-hyuman, the earthlings / humans of this universe are not quite the same as us, half-shifter, a kind of alien capable of this metamorphosis into what they want , and having the particularity of being able to travel through wormholes, called "transportal field", without the need of special equipment or vehicle. But he's a bit special, because his crossbreeding is the result of a vile experiment led by scientists. Suddenly, he was born more or less disabled, at least from the point of view of a meta, because he can not transform like his congeners.
Why is this serious? In short, it's like he can't talk or walk, it's a primary survival mechanism in metas. I'm not saying it's impossible, but it's just more difficult to live with on a daily basis. And on top of that, his ability to harness transport energy is even more out of control than that of other members of his clan, who is already renowned for having chaotic transport energy in their blood. It is this ... "power" which allows them in general to use the transport fields, thanks to the transportal energy, of which they are mainly constituted.
Now that you all know that, I think I'll stop there and move on to the most interesting part of the description for me, in terms of the chara design:
He is very pessimistic, and rightly so, given his history. Before he was more cheerful and reserved, even very shy. The kind of little boy who stays in his mom's petticoats all day. But now he won't hesitate a single second to tell people that he doesn't appreciate their Four Truths. Yeah, he's a frank and direct person! Which can put off those who meet him for the first time, In general, his family and close friends are safer than strangers, especially if the latter behaves like ass***.
He was able to keep two memories of when he still lived with his parents, one is an old antique / historical / ethnic Metanian marriage promise ring. And the other is a biotechnological device allowing to control its chaotic transportal energy, as if it were put under seal. As long as this device is on its power is inactive, he must deactivate it to use it, at his own risk. But he learned to master it, more or less, thanks to the intensive training ... and almost military, that his adoptive mother, Vivir, subjected him to.
He often wears long clothes, long sleeves, pants, jeans etc. But that's normal, because the extreme weather conditions from which he comes, leaves him no choice. But otherwise, he has a special clan outfit, where his left arm is hidden by the drape of his top. Her other arm is uncovered, with the drape spiking her shoulder like piccolo's namek outfit. Underneath, he wears a simple t-shirt that reaches at least the waist. The pants he wears are lightly covered on the side of his left arm, by the drape in which his body is rolled up. I can't quite explain the drape, but it looks like the garment the Greeks and Romans wore. Shoe level, there is nothing special, tennis padded because of the cold or outdoor shoes would do the trick.
As for the face, it has nothing in particular either, except maybe that it looks like a mixed race, parents white and black. (multicolor mostly dark red, but I'm not sure that's what I want so free to you). Hair colour ? I haven't looked into its physical description enough yet, as I lack information, regarding colors, and lots of other stuff.
He has a twin sister who suffered the same accident as him but who did not land in the same place as him. Her name is Wag, and unlike her brother, she can transform. He first met him, one night he appeared out of nowhere. Since then, they have gotten to know each other and eventually become inseparable.
When they pool their abilities, the faults of one make up for those of the other. Yntcheon often uses her sister's transfiguration abilities to fight, and in return she uses her brother's powerful transportal energy to strengthen hers.
And also, his favorite transformations is that of metamorphosing into wolf and winged animals.
ps: my story is being written and not yet completed, so it may be that a lot of things are missing, or changed. but for now, that's how I see my character.
