If you could change one scene, how would you change it?

I dunno, maybe I'm a sadist but I like rethinking "happily ever after" endings.
Like I think it would be cool if Harry Potter had died and became a martyr. Or live but start a home for orphans or anything along those lines and just stay out of the lime-light.
Also I wanted Katniss to be like a grizzled old veteran, something like Haymitch and just travel around Panem alone doing stuff.

The last scene of End of Evangelion - right after Asuka says 'disgusting', the scene pauses, and Hideaki Anno stumbles in drunk on badly done green screen, and starts ranting about the viewer, telling them how disgusting they are for fapping to animated 12 year olds.

I feel Katniss traveling around Panem makes more sense. I honestly didn't feel the ending for that series was believable.

I kinda disagree about Katniss. She never wanted to be involved with the hunger games from the very beginning. She also raised her little sister and was basically "mom" to almost everyone, because everyone was seemingly incapable of being adults. I think it makes sense that she would want to go on and have a family. The movie did make it feel sorta weird. She didn't have a lot of chemistry with Peeta in the last movie, so maybe that's why? I think you are also implying that people who come back from war, can't live normal lives, even after everything they have seen and done.

I've watched Dragonball since I was like 5 years old and this never once crossed my mind. But dang, it makes so much sense now it hurts. haha

I think if I could change any scene in a comicbook it would be where Gwen Stacey dies in our universe. I wish Spider Gwen and Spider Man could exist together.

it was created early enough that this change wouldn't have been as trope-worthy, but I would have changed it so that the invaders were created from an initial AI build by the corporation that was making the suits, one that went rogue...

This would have lead to a final enemy as opposed to the amalgam ending of a cyclical timeline of sorts.

It also could have lead to a second series where the AI created, before it was destroyed by the heroes, an entire civilization that could be fought by the heroes and go from there.

Just felt like it had sooooo much more potential and could have had solid endings while continuing a story.

Tbh, I don't want to debate about anything. And yes, the movie did make it strange. That's just my opinion on a "fictional story," not real life people.

I love when anything shows veterans having well-adjusted and happy lives after the fact.
I'm just tired of the married life with children set as being the ultimate reward. Like why can't the character adopt a kid and some animals and go off doing charitable work be the happily ever after?

Fair point. I guess it could have gone either way. Although Katniss does say that both her and Peeta suffer from nightmares and sometimes not being able to decipher what is reality or not. None of that went away in the books. I think in the movies they just glazed over everything. The ending was not very effective in the movies for sure, it had a much different feeling than the books.

It is hard to say how another ending would have fitted, it would be interesting to get an alternative ending for sure! Katniss completely changed her world. How everyone would function in the new world could really be anything. I think most movies would have just ended with the two heroes looking out over the destruction they left and the new freedom of the people and walked away into the sunset and left it at that.

I just saw Stranger Things and it really did irk me how shitty the government was covering up evidence. Maybe if they didn't shoot the random dude in the beginning and just wiped his memory or drugged him or got rid of him where no one would find him or just anything else would make more sense. I just lost immersion when the cop was allowed to go free after discovering a gateway to hell but they just had to kill the random fry cook.
