oh wait I just thought of something. You know how mangatown has a thing where they have genre, then demographic or whatever? I think maybe Tapas could do that. I know they have tags, but honestly I never even use them cause you have to rely on what's trending to know what they are, and they're something that's types out by the person, so if you misspell 'romance' to 'romonse' or something then it doesn't work. For example:
genre: romance
demographics: bl, gl, straight, dramedy, other
genre: syfy
demographics: futuristic, alien, other
or maybe they could mix and match genres and demographics (actually, let's call them tags, like they are rn) (it
so people could click on a genre, then click on a demographic. Or do a search where you select the demographics/genres you want and stuff pops up. Maybe that's a bit too ambitions, though. It'd require a complete overhaul of the website and app probably.
And then people can have one genre per series, but multiple demographics. And maybe the demographics could be mix and match, so if you searched for a series that was murder mystery, and a bl popped up, it would have both tags for murder mystery and bl.
I'm thinking wayy to much about this lol
