I don't quite understand what completing 'one of my stories in my lifetime' would mean?

I regularly complete two to three stories a year for my own sales as e-books and paperbacks, and over the last 23 years as a freelance writer, I've sold completed stories in the hundreds to regular clients and buyers .

The novel series that I have ongoing here on Tapas are completed ones being serialized as short episodes for the site's requirement.

For the main comic 'Delphine and Zigadias', the script is complete, and also plotted out in detail. I just need to do the art whenever my work schedule permits these days.

you could only complete all the steps needed to share/publish one more story. whether that means writing editing and publishing a novel, or completing the art for a comic

I do that almost every month writing 30k to 60k novels for buyers.

Or did you mean choosing one story to complete at the time of demise?

What would bring about such a dire situation? If death then it doesn't matter what happens to unfinished material when I no longer exist.

But I suppose when popular writers pass away before completing a work in progress (for example Robert Howard, David Gemmell, Enid Blyton), their publishers hire ghostwriters to complete the unfinished manuscript to recoup their invested losses.
