If YOU were a Pokémon trainer, what kind of Pokémon would you use?

I'd probably be a mix of Ghost and Psychic types, maybe with a supernatural/unexplained mystery theme - if I wasn't swamped with work I'd draw a Ghost Gymsona this week or the next for sure.

My team would probably be something like;

• Claydol
• Cofagrigus
• Spiritomb
• Dhelmise
• Dusclops with that spicy Eviolite
• Sigilyph as the signature pokémon

I'd be all about strange movesets, especially do deal with the Dark and Ghost advantage.

Hahaha yeah I have a pokemon AU so it was kinda hard to choose x'D I love them all, pokemon in general is just so nice, I just wish I could play the newest games c': (haven't played since black/white since the last nintendo console I owned was the DSi, that's why most of my oc's teams pokemons are from the older gens c': ). As a owner of two lovely tortoises I'm obligated to be a master of turtles. My team would have

Squirtle
Turtwig
Tirtouga
Turtonator and
Torkoal.

Lmao, I remember watching the original poke series and now, after a gazillion years, searching for turtle pokemons was a wild ride. Turtonator both looks and sounds badass! I may have to rename my handsome boy. And as an old school fan my Squirtle naturally comes equipped with da sunglasses

Thanks! Yeah, actually my first ever OC was just a Squritle in everything but name, funnily enough.

Mudkip was my second favorite starter as a kid... Bless that weird little fish puppy.

Just curious: does that team of wooloo have a shiny on it ?
It's fine to like pokemon based on a attribute like beauty/cuteness, personally i like interesting/underrated designs like claydol and sigilyph too

The glasses are what made the squirtle squad iconic, especially the team leader's Dame Edna shades.

Probably a swiss army knife Sigilyph with Dazzling Gleam/Energy Ball/Air Slash/Psychic, but that's probably the difference between a competitive team and a if-I-was-a-story-NPC pokémon. If it was a competitive team, probably all their worst tanky setups and Stored Power boy.

My favorite starter is Snivy and that's the one I have on the Pokecord Discord bot(cuz I haven't played a mainline game in a hot second), but he doesn't fit a themed team with everyone else :c

I usually just choose them by their look/design and trying not to have more of one type, so it's not so strange. I just love fox like and lion like pokemon XD
