I'd hit up the crew behind Adventure Time and Bravest Warriors. I think Outer Spaces would work really well with their touch.

Well, simply put, Hayao Miyazaki has been bringing us fantastic films for close to 40 years, and he's really been the driving force and creativity behind the studio. As you can imagine after that much time spent pouring your life into animation, he's ready to retire. He's not done creating stories, by any means - he's working on a manga right now, I believe. But as it has been his life's work, Studio Ghibli doesn't want to go on animating without him, and so they're wrapping up their final projects.
