Uh, actually my chicken mc is named Friar, for wordplay, "fryer" as well as the religious title. Friar picked the name for himself cause that's what the humans called him (fryers are about 14-16 pounds? or maybe weeks old, i cant remember), but TC is not wrong, least not in my weird universe.

It just occured to me that there are viewers who might assume Friar is a hen. He's technically a dubbed rooster (eunuch), but he's behaves kinda feminine, so really, any way could work for the story up to a point. Shame, he can't lay eggs tho...

Tho he did smuggle one up his @$$ in a recent episode...XD
