This looks like it's straight out of a Ernest Shakleton (Antartic explorer) film made by Disney.
Fits my current atmosphere and feelings, brr!

Took me a minute to figure out your character's element, but once I did the rest was easy. There was a ship in the beginning, which is what the bg is. Not sure why I chose this angle, but I rolled with it.

I like the character dynamic you have going on in your story (It's Elements, for those wondering, there are a few Asters on Tapas as I've found out researching).

That does sound about right. Friar just hates anything that seems like a threat to his own beliefs. Not enough to kill or maim, but I like to tease that he would.

As for stealing the key...it just occurred to me that I didn't draw a lock - whoops! XD

Suppose he lets Houdini glimpse it before he goes under, then slips the key back to his assistant when they start to panic? Friar's definitely the type to fight a trickster with tricks - he is clever unlike most others in the flock. Maybe I'll try to plan it out more when I have a free slot in my story. Should be fun when we get to that.

Aw, my heart! I know there's a lot of praise for these works, but your Disney comment really uplifted my mood and I needed it today -life stress going on, and I chose to escape from time to time with this, what I love doing. I appreciate it, and always try my best to deliver supports, which is moneyless/inkless, unfortunately atm, but I offer what I have, and it's art, and fanart too.
