ooh! ooh! do you do OCs by description? my OCs are in a novel, so I can tell you what they look like and give your artistic licensing, if you're willing to try. But i'd love to see my leads Kattar and Alicia drawn as birds in your art style.

Alicia (normally):
Hair: dark dark brown and crazy long.
Eyes: large, and black with long dark lashes
skin: cinnamon brown
Height: 4'9
Outfit: she's kinda frumpy tbh, but her most iconic outfits would have to be her red cocktail dress and her red princess-esque dress. Idk if you intend to draw birds with clothes, so you can leave that out, but if she was a bird she'd probably be a red one of some kind like a cardinal, or a red peacock (I know I know, they don't come in red) but again, should you choose to draw her I give you artistic freedom.)
Kattar: (normally)
Hair: Black, and very long for a boys hair (past his shoulders)
Eyes: black, and very slanted, in sort of rainbows on his face
Complexion: cashew brown
height: 5'9
outfit: either a full-on West-side Story leather jacket with slicked back hair, jeans and timberland boots, or a cute sweater, jeans and Vans. (he's very fashion centered, but again, if your bird don't wear clothes, he'd probably be a crow, or some other black-colored bird.)
