Okay Murphys-law!
Okay when I say the cover I was like. WoW this is some good art, nice style, then I read the comic itself and was a little of a let down. I know maintaining the style for the comic in the style of the cover would be very difficult and I shouldn't expect that. But it kinda was my first thoughts going into it. The comic art isn't bad at all its just not what I expected going in.
I noticed some lines were colored, its an interesting touch but I was overall neutral towards it.
The story. I really liked how you foreshadowed Kits powers over time with her showing her many watches, that was a nice touch. I wonder if this is somewhat inspired by the x-man universe, with you know teens with mutant powers that society doesn't seem to like. I find a really interesting premise you decided to focus on , instead of a teen wanting to be heroic, you focus on a teen who seems to be taking up a supervillan role. (if robbing banks is any indication). I'm actually glad you didn't slip into the easy thing of making her an edge lord. Who's all dark and brooding and don't make no friends. She seems to be a typical teenager who is just in that role. I'm interested in that, however I'm not sure whether she would grow into that role and struggles with it or grow into a super hero role. Which is a good thing, thou I would prefer the former mostly due to finding it more intresting.
The rest of the cast are also interesting, creature is cute, Nikolai makes me worry for the guy you know with smashing his hand, nice almost family like dynamic going on between them. Wreck is an enigma, I get older teen taking advantage of disenfranchise younger teens vibes from them. Birb I'm neutral towards since she hasn't gotten much screen time yet but I do like her sunny disposition and I did enjoy her interactions with kit, . Tamal, the tree man, I like tamal's chemistry with kit very funny, thou I'm suspicious he has tree powers. Overall thou I haven't seen your cast for long they all seem to have strong personalities and interactions.
Overall a strong start, good job establishing the dynamic between the cast. It's a pretty new comic so there's still a lot that can happen. My issues with the art is more due to my exceptions VS reality, thou its fine, just with occasionally weird anatomy problems(I suck with that so I'm not going to hold it against you).
