Fun Fact: I got the story idea from a job offer on a plane to Paris. I was offered a job as an assistant to a producer that worked on foreign translations for American films and TV. She worked out of LA, and I was seated next to her on the plane. And she didn't like her current PA. Unfortunately, I was on my way for a 3 month abroad study program, but we exchanged phone numbers in case I would be interested when I got back.
And I lost her phone number. It was the early 90s. So, I only had her business card. I lost it somehow. And I always wondered, what if I had found or kept the number, called it, and got the job? Worked in LA as a PA? What would have happened?
So, I wrote a story to answer the question. It turned into a PA in an American agency that worked with Kpop bands. And turned into a kpop romance.
Other fun fact, I originally had the scene where my main character got offered the job on the plane, but it later just didn't work. It was better to have the story start with her walking in on her first day.
