Important Announcement

[SamuraiCory]

Thanks for nearly 15 years of service as everyone is hurrying to the escape pods. At least the upcoming webcomic series Shibuya Brawlers will be launched on GlobalComix, Webcomic Studio, and Webtoon Canvas.

I also have retooled my Patreon, too. Despite not being around for long because of life reasons, I am thankful for being here. To quote Hugh Williams from the Capcom game Pragmata, "Go find the sea."

Thank you, Tapas. You've been a real blast.

That's sad. Like extremely sad, I've been planning to continue posting here, but alas...
Since it happened, y'all guys have any idea on where to move? Preferably somewhere it's more convenient for posting without any size limitations (that hustle to resize all my a4 format pages was annoying, honestly)

[DarkPhoenixFF4]

Based on what I've seen the last couple of days, along with no more Ink all series are dropped as of September 30th. So if you're hoping to see the end of a series before the shutdown, well fuck you; you get nothing.

I routinely spent $80 every two weeks here so I could binge series, and I'm fucking furious. That's THOUSANDS I'll never get back. And my preferred way of killing time is gone with it. And there are hundreds of series I probably won't get to see finished...

Nooo

After years I'm finally close to my first pay-out (I need 3.24) so will that money disappear now?

[Amalockh1]

Man, I still had hope Tapas would survive...Unfortunately, I was wrong.
I had been a member since 2016...It feels like all these years went by like nothing.

I'm just not ready to say farewell...

I really wish I had known sooner that the ink purchases were ending. I would have bought more to finish the book I was reading. Now that it's over, I have no way to access the remaining chapters that aren't available in WUF format. The fact that this is ending is really disappointing, and it makes the situation even worse.

[penxpanel]

Alot of writers are dropping links to new platforms. So whoile it wont solve all your issues; if theres a series your invested in you'll be able to continue following it.

[tracydawncrow71]

I so agree with this. Why not give the readers a chance to finish and the creators a chance to make that money???

Is there a way to tell where the creators will be posting their stories?

[InternetSampler]

I'd like to desperately urge everyone to archive their favorite webcomics to the Wayback Machine so they're able to be preserved when the site goes down.

[Tubacabra]

I don't even know how to do that...

[InternetSampler]

There's even a handy browser extension, too! Spread the word!
