In search of many artist for many stories(makes sense when you read)

Hi everyone! My name is Neo and I am a writer in highschool (in other words: I do be penniless) and my wonderful Literature teacher has decided to punish me after I told him that I thought his writing assignments were boring. He made me write a book, but I'm already doing that, so he then said, and I quote "write more". So I decided instead to write a webcomic. Well, a couple actually (because I am next level stoopid). Now the only problem with this is that we have the script but not the art, so that's where you come in! I am an artist so I do draw, I'm drawing two of these webcomics, these are the only two that are not really done, so that leaves a few other stories that y'all can get in on! You don't have to worry about commitment on my part either as I have finished all the stories, kinda.
As previously mentioned I am penniless so I couldn't pay you but you are welcome to set something up for yourself (patreon or the like) I won't take any. I also have a friend in the merchandise business so any money from that will also go to you. So the descriptions are below.

Idea 1: Emerald Fallen. okay so remember aforementioned book? Yeah this is it. It is about a bunch of teenage pirates who have kidnapped the daughter of an anti-pirate league captain. This captain also happened to kill the lover of the Emerald Fallen's captain and now with prisoner in tow they search for a way to revive said lover. Meanwhile the captain finds herself falling for the daughter. (I plan to post this story on tapas once I get someone to do the thumbnail and cover which if you want to please PM me)

Idea 2: Our Secret: Devon DiAngelo get fired from their job for something they didn't do, loses their publishing deal, has all their property incinerated in a fire including the computer with their manuscript on it, on top of that everyone thinks they set that fire on purpose which also incinerated their neighbor. Fed up with their life, Devon moves half way across the world to London to start over. There they plans to start a new book so they move into a small but homey new apartment. After the (inconvenient) only light bulb in the apartment goes out. Devon being short goes to ask their (hot) next door neighbor if they could borrow a step ladder. After changing the light bulb Devon goes to return the ladder he sees something that would change his life forever. complete with writing this

Idea 3: #POSTED: We are all bored this quarantine so these six teens have decided to start a video series. This is a slice of life comedy that is super cute. not complete as I have decided to exhaust it to it's limit

How do you let a situation get so out of hand?? I have so many things to say and scold you and your teacher on just based on behavior alone omg lol but let's put all that aside for a moment. In order to help you in any way at all, we gotta ask some questions.

• Is it too late to pull back on the number of webcomics you have to work on?
• How long are each of these ideas supposed to be?
• Is there a deadline?
• Is there any reason that these HAVE to be webcomics?

I'm gonna be honest, I don't think you'll be able to find that many artists on here willing to help.. just in general, bc most of em are busy working on their own series. But even for the ones who are available, this is a lot to take in for something so seemingly thrown together in a hurry. Story length and available time are huge factors in being able to complete these as comics, and if you don't take these into consideration, you are vastly underestimating the effort that goes in making a single panel. Which makes even less sense to me since you're an artist yourself, you should be aware of how long the process can take.

Last point I have to make as well.. remember, this is a punishment meant for you, a punishment you essentially made worse for yourself. In the time you spent coming up with these additional ideas and scripts, you could've been partway through working on the ONE you were originally assigned. I don't think you need to bring other people into this. If it's not set in stone yet, please see if you can make this an easier task for yourself and the potential others involved.

agreed with all of @ar-ninetysix points, couldn’t have said it better myself. you’re creating work for yourself which you absolutely will not be able to get out of. i’m saying this as kindly as possible.. a good book, a good comic script, a good story, those need more than a couple of hours of sitting down and writing words.

seriously, my reccomendation would be to leave the comics you’ve finished as scripts and hand them in that way, use the extra time you’re going to put in drawing to edit and refine your actual work.

I get what you guys are saying but I really want to do all of them. I'm not going to do all of them, only the stories that someone wants to do. So if no one wants to do a story I just would wait on that project. I want to do as many as possible because I am a hyperactive insomniac with way too much time. Also each of these scripts I have worked on for two years, I was talking about my freshman Lit teacher (should have been clear on that). The deadlines are open to the artists. Most of my projects are long term. Sorry I am new to this site so I am going to get rid to the stories I am not as excited about making.
