Hi there. My name is Gabby and I've just recently entered the world of comic making about six months ago when I decided I should probably use this art business to do something I love rather than working stupid jobs and hope that I can get somewhere.

I just launched my comic Die Erste Liebe, the story of a boy who falls in love with the Daughter of Death in spite of his mother fighting against hers in an all out war against gods. It's a surreal fairytale Romeo/Juliet-esque tale with lots of violence, fantasy and philosophical pondering on good and evil.

I look forward to meeting more people on this website as well as collaborating eventually!

Time to venture into this massive thread, I guess, now that my comic's gotten going a bit.

Hi everyone! I'm Anna, a Swedish comic artist/illustrator/storyteller, and I am the creator of Grassblades, which is an epic* story of a wandering swordsman and his quest. Grassblades is the result of me chucking everything I like into a blender and turning it on high - it's a little bit Blade of the Immortal, it's a little bit Lone Wolf and Cub, it's a little bit Hellboy, and a little bit of that reoccurring manga-theme of journey-to-the-west.

*) and by epic, I mean "oh god, I think this might end up being 1000 pages long help".

I also draw a bunch of other things, because my brain enjoys distracting me, and you can find it either over on my regular art-tumblr, or on Gumroad. I'm also trying to fund this on-going artistic venture via Patreon.

My non-Grassblades projects right now include a silly romance comic, some acrylic paintings, and illustrations for a game someone else is coding.

I joined yesterday and trying to get to know everyone on the forums
I'm a twenty-something freelance illustrator and comic artist. I have 2 webcomic series, but only 1 is available here on Tapastic. I'm still debating on whether to upload my other series on here, but I guess we'll see what the future holds

The comic I have here is called Between the Realms it's about a girl name Saedie being whisked away to a parallel dimension, by a strange woman with wofl ears and a tail, where humans don't exist. If you like fantasy, romance, while being perfectly balanced with gore and nudity, then please consider checking out my comic

BTW, I only have one page -.- and is the cover of chapter 1...but I am making this because of a friend I met when I was at High School. I hope you like the webcomic and never hate Holy, cuz she will get mad hahaha.

Hey everybody! My Name is Will, and I am the creator/author of:

The Second Coming of Mike

I've loved comics for more than thirty years, starting off with DC comics back in 77'. I got into doing my own comic as a hobby, mostly spurred on by my now teenage daughter, who's very much into Manga and the Teen Titans. We both liked TT and talk about it often and were completely saddened when it was cancelled on Cartoon Network. In all the lull, she found this program called Comipo and she got into creating her own comics. Somewhere in all of this, she found out that I'm a comic head from way back and suggested that I do one.

I was already finished with my first draft of a sci-fi novel called The Daughter of Ellah, and I was actually working on a backstory piece for the main character of that book. He needed an origin story that connected him with the state of affairs of the work he was in, and I came up with the idea that his Grandmother was special in a different way. The Second Coming of Mike is her story. I'm still working on the fiction novel, but doing this allows my daughter to share in it's production. She tells me things she likes and doesn't like and we work them out together.

It's just me doing all of the 3D work. I'm trying very much to stay as true to the novel as possible, but I can tell that there's a lot more I can add in doing it graphically, so I hope to keep working on it for a long time to come.

I recently became a member of this great community and thought I'd stop by to say hi. I was really happy to find this site and see so many great online comics and comic artists alike . My dream is to be a comic book artist (a successful one would be nice ) . I'm really partial to he manga style.

My first real contribution to this site would be a short story I did 2 years ago. It was initially meant to be submitted to the Shonen Jump manga contest, but unfortunately I missed the deadline. I'd really appreciate it if you would give it a shot

Well... I joined about two weeks ago and really enjoy reading and posting on this site I've been creating (drawing and writing) since 2007 and have this story I've fixed and changed ever since: it's called Yorbs and I think it's finally ready to become something, so that is what I'm doing here haha!
Through the years I have changed my way to see things so much that now this comic has too many genres to describe it, but I think it might be interesting to many

I've been writing short stories since 2007 (26 short stories, 90 poems, and 3 novellas), but here and there have also engaged in illustration. I recently took up poetry, and seeking to eventually do a poetry comic. In the mean time, I've been practicing illustration until I can find a way to draw consistently.

Great reading about all of you guys.

My name is Jrej. I am a french artist currently living in Vancouver, Canada but I've travelling quite a lot this past few years.

I started drawing Shades Of Men in 2012. The idea sparked from every day life scenes I've observed living Paris. The story follows homeless people as the try to teach a kid how to live in the streets.
I posted the three first chapters on Tapastic but I am working on the fourth one on http://shadesofmen.jimdo.com.

My inspiration is a lot of 90's movies like Lethal Weapon or more recently Taken.
I read Kick Ass, Walking Dead and Scott Pilgrim which I loved.

Other than that I love playing music ( Guitar, Bass, Saxophone... ), play basketball and videogames! Even tough I haven't had much time for that recently. Busy drawing!
