Thank you so much for your in depth reply! Much appreciated. Yes, for now I'm trying to properly learn my countries' second language that I never paid much attention to in school. I know a few odd words in Hangul and Japanese as well due to the shows I watch so I'm hoping to tackle those languages next. All the best to you though. Knowing so many languages, even on a basic level, is quite the achievement.

English is my second language, my native one is portuguese, from Brazil. Actually, when I planned to publish my novel at tapas I was wondering just about that. I was asking myself if it was worth to publish my chapters both in english and portuguese, trying to reach a higher public. I end up doing this, but I still don't know how efficient this can be.

Got my bachelor degree in China and trying not to forget Chinese since 2013. Learning Japanese right now, because dear god I know so much of it thanks to watching anime, it's time to become better xD I would also like to win a battle of learning German, but so far German is winning

Yes, English is my first language, and the only one I'm fluent in lol. I know a few words and phrases in Spanish, Japanese and French, but not enough to hold a convo. I feel I should really get into Spanish more since it's a secondary language here in the States.

Technically, no? I'm Filipino, so I guess technically tagalog is my first language... but also, I'm like, not very comfortable in speaking it and prefer speaking in English. I'm not bad at speaking it or anything, and I speak Tagalog sorta regularly IRL, but if anyone asks me to make a fancy essay in Tagalog I will literally die

I wasn´t able to speak english when I left school, my english was a mix from what I heard
