I didn't touch photoshop until I was 17, and I didn't get a tablet until I was 18 or 19. Granted I'm a little rusty sketching things traditionally currently (I should do that some more again). It's just so damn easy to fix things digitally. For example I often draw heads or faces a bit too large proportionally and it's fixed with the transform tool in a snap. Traditionally, you'd have to erase and draw it again. So I suppose digital art has made me lazy in that sense.
But there are some things I can still do better traditionally than digitally though, color mixing for example. I like to think my colors are excellent in water color and oils, but I often struggle to paint digitally. There are just some digital painting styles I don't think I'll ever nail.
Digital art takes just as much skill as traditional media, you still have to know the fundamentals and how to use your tools. Digital is just a different art medium, and it's normal to be better at some mediums than others.
