Is it possible to accidentally give yourself views?

I was scrolling through my chapters on my laptop to go over and make sure they connected well and I noticed about 20ish minutes later my views surged from 240 to 312 this has happened two other times and I want to make sure I get views from actual people who enjoy my novel and not glitched views.

Tapas doesn't usually count views from yourself, at least not that I've noticed. If you were logged into your account, then consider those views genuine! Also, with 17 episodes, you'd need to view every chapter at least four times to get that many. Congrats, 300 views in one day is pretty good!

My daily page views rarely exceed 100.
So far, I believe the view counts on TAPAS are accurate.
