Is "The Second Couple" Important? (Poll)

Hi guys!
It's been a while, but I hope you still remember me!
I've been taking a break and I'm finally ready to make another comic.

I need your opinion about the second couple in the story.
Do you prefer that they be involved in the main story? Or do you think the second couple often clashes with the main plot?
Let me know what you think!

Having the second couple full story in the main plot!
The second couple should be added as a side story!

I think it's best to try and intertwine both couple's storylines. I find with romance manga it can often feel like there's just two completely seperate stories that happen to take place in the same world like some sort of short story anthology, which usually gets me to drop the series if it goes on for too long because I was invested in the main couple and now they haven't been in the story for 4 chapters.

If you can make it so that some drama in one couple affects the other, like if couple A is having trouble because one of them is jealous and the other runs away from conflict, the one who runs away could go and stay with their friend from couple B overnight, which could really fuel the jealous one from couple A's insecurities so they could talk to the other member of couple B and make them insecure too and FOUR WAY DRAMA STORM YAY.

Oh, I agree with you! I think that if the interval between couples is too long, most readers will drop the comic!
Since the second couple is essentially a side character, I don't think they should take up too much of the main story!

This is a good idea.
Even though in my upcoming story, both couples don't have much correlation to each other, I think I will still have to make them not entirely separated!
