Me personally, I either listen to Spotify (either 2000s rock hits or my own personal playlists) Or I put on videos about lost media in the background, as strange as that sounds. Specifically videos by LSuperSonicQ where he discusses lost animated show pilots or comercials, and stuff like that. I'll just put on a 1 hour compilation vid while I draw away, and I just find it really comforting and facinating, especially when it's 12:00 at midnight. (Yes i'm a HUGE night owl)

No, I put music on when I writer the novel, when I draw, I put on movies, shows, and YouTube Videos

That's what I do too. But if I'm listening to music while writing, it has to be something without lyrics like video game OSTs.

I listen to MP3s on my Winamp playlist. I have rock, metal, irish ballads, 80s, dubstep, electronica and goth.
On Youtube I have an AMV playlist for anime music videos fans make.
I do horror, fantasy, action, mystery genres so it fits well.

Winamp? That's so windows xp early 2000s

They just released an update for 2024 their website is still up. I prefer it. I like custom skinning them and how its offline. And from my bought CDs.

I listen to a lot of instrumentals and epic trailer type music (Elephant Music, Two Steps from Hell/Thomas Bergerson), but it can be too stimulating sometimes so I'll just put on ADHD music to get in the zone.

As far as songs with lyrics, I've taken it a step further and recently downloaded some songs and changed the pitch to match my MC's voice. Really gets me in the mind of the character and excited about future events.
(songs like "Dies Irae" by Chant of the Mystics, "Light Within", "Come As You Are", "Till Daylight", all three by Nathan Pacheco are among my absolute favorites so far.)
