Issue with comic sizing

I’ve been trying to post a comic for the past day that is 740 x 4000 and it says it’s too wide?

My art program was saving the image as the wrong resolution ? Weird but it’s fixed

I don't think the problem is that it's too wide, I think it might be too long?
Have you tried editing the comic into smaller images, like 740x1000 maybe? It could solve the problem.

(if it's not, then I honestly don't know what it might be, as I've never really encountered it before)

length could definitely be an issue and if your unable to downsize i would recommend slicing the pages if your able

No idea if there's a max wide, but mine is 724px so that size would be safe for sure.

i know the max width on tapas is 940 (unless that changed somewhere) Webtoons i've no clue

I heard webtoons has a max wide of 800px

The maximum comic image proportions for tapas are 940px by 4000px. I wonder why you're getting that error, unless it's too narrow.
