Hello everyone, I’m Al Sanders, the author of The Shadow of Spirit.
You may not know this story yet, but if you enjoy mystery, battles, and hidden secrets, it might be worth giving it a chance.

The story follows Kaito, a young boy seeking revenge, as he is drawn deeper and deeper into a world far bigger than himself.

The world is divided into four great regions, ruled by the Reketai, the organization that brings together the strongest Possessors.

A thousand years before the current story, there was a war between humans and spirits, creatures that appeared out of nowhere. Humans managed to win by sealing them within themselves. That was how the Possessors were born.

Now the story is reaching a much more important stage.

I’ve just released the penultimate chapter of Genzō’s arc, one of the characters in the story.
If you want to start reading, this is honestly the perfect moment.

Give it a try… you might end up getting hooked right away.

Kaito, a young boy, had very little in his life. When his master and his family are killed by the Mugentamashii, he decides to avenge them.

It might sound like the usual story, but I truly believe that The Shadow of Spirit can be something more. It’s my first story, but I’m writing it with passion and ambition.

His phone rang. It was Mi-Suk. "Hello?" he said, picking up the phone.
"Hello number one male lead! Have you seen the articles about last night?" Mi-Suk said.
As if he cared about the stupid articles.
"No, not yet. What do they say?" he asked nonetheless.
"Good things! Oh, I’m very excited! There are some references for our party last night, but no details. Sang-Jun took care of it in the morning. And… I guess you know, right? Noelle is still at the hospital," Mi-Suk said.
You don't say!
But he just said: “I know, Sang-Jun told me.”
"You should send her flowers and a get-well message."
"Are you crazy? Why would I do that?" Ye-Jun said. What Mi-Suk was suggesting was ridiculous. They were not friends; he didn't even consider her a colleague. Why send her flowers?
"Hey! That's the polite thing to do! People might say that it was your fault..."
Ha! She was accusing him? She had no right! "My fault? What am I, her babysitter? I can say it's your fault because you didn't warn her!" Ye-Jun yelled at her.
There was a short silence.
"Listen, I’m not going to be scolded by you. It’s my job to support your public image, to instruct you how to behave sometimes and that's why I suggested that. I never thought I had to warn her about that... Anyhow, that is the right thing to do..." Mi-Suk said, sounding awfully professional.
“I’m not going to fight with you! And I’m not sending anything!" he said, hanging up the phone.
