“In what way?” Abel said, his brow furrowing, afraid he already knew the answer.
“Covering for me and my guild.”
“Ash, you can’t—” Alice began, but a squeeze from her husband’s hand silenced her. She glanced at him, but his gaze was firmly affixed to Ash.
“I can’t guarantee full immunity for what you do, Ash,” he said. “But I can deflect suspicion if I have to.”
Ash nodded once. “That’s fine. So long as the police stay out of my way, I don’t give a ... how it’s done.”
“In return, I want information about the main organization the Fishermen are attached to,” Abel said, his tone brooking no argument.
“I can do that.”
“All of it Ashley,” Abel emphasized, then flinched, withering under the fierce glare he received from his son.
“Only Coby can call me that,” he growled.

Scott receives Colin’s body and comes up with a plan to bring him back to life, as well as heal all the injuries inflicted upon him by Jin and Ash. He arrives at the River Styx only to learn Colin’s soul has already been judged, and the revelation pushes Scott over the edge, changing everything about him.
Ash and Jin fill Abel and Alice in on what Ash and Coby will do with the Fishermen, and Ash makes a stunning declaration.
