An unnamed 17-year-old boy with violet eyes walks to school with his best friend when he is suddenly attacked and stabbed by an unknown person. He saves his best friend from getting stabbed by pushing him out of the way, and pushes his best friend into the road, where he is hit by an oncoming truck and dies. As the unnamed boy is bleeding out, rage overcomes him, directed at the person who stabbed him. Grabbing the knife out of his gut, he kills the person who stabbed him, then he proceeds to bleed out to death. He is then reincarnated as a newborn baby boy named Malik Moritz. As he opens his eyes, he looks out the window and sees four moons and realizes he was reincarnated into another world.

We all turn as a couple slips into the shop—hesitant, wide-eyed—clearly reacting to the earlier flash of light. And behind them… A small crowd gathers at the storefront windows, whispering to each other, eyes flicking toward the necklace, then to me, then to Dad.
“Did you see a glow?” —
“Was that magic?” —
“Was it a magic item or? Is she a noble mage?” —
“No— who’s that walking in there? That’s Lord Rensford—”
Dad glances toward the door once, and the whispers die like snuffed candles.
Lady Aerine quickly shuts the boxes as though protecting sacred treasure. “We can move to the private showroom if you wish, My Lady. Away from… attention.”
Were the other workers on break?
Two workers dressed in blue and black uniform come from the back to assist the man that just walked in. I look at the bracelet, the earrings, and the gem still humming softly against my skin.
“Sure,” I say. “ If we're viewing exclusive jewelry… a private setting is needed i suppose” i scan my eyes towards the direction of the man who just entered.
Lord Rensford someone shouted from outside, was that him?
Dad smirks. “After you Lady Aerine.”
And the gem glints—as if amused
Lady Aerine leads us through a set of carved doors into a private showroom lit with floating glass orbs. The room feels like stepping into a jewelry vault mixed with a shrine—velvet platforms, mirrored stands, soft glows radiating off gems that look almost… awake.
“Please,” Aerine gestures, “browse at your leisure. Everything here is from unreleased or limited noble collections.”
Let's put you back in your box —I unclasp the air-gem necklace, lifting it gently. The moment it leaves my skin, the gem dimly flickers—then emits the faintest sorrowful hum.
“…It’s sad?” I whisper.
Dad nods. “Bonded gems don’t like separation.”
