Me too, but with so many things to fit into very few hours I have left from every day, it’s just not feasible.

Yeah, and you're a parent too, so that's just one more thing on top of life. I'm finding it's nice to do in front of the TV. My hands can stay busy while my mind gets involved in the show.

That's so cool! I've always wanted to make a scarf like that but I'm still such a newbie. If I did make a scarf like his, it'll include all the random colors of yarn I have tucked inside my house.

Okay, I read that a purl stitch is a really good stitch to do an afghan. I've watched tutorials and have figured out how to do it on my loom, but it curls. For those who know how to do that skitch, how do you stop it the edges from curling so the blanket lays flat?

Just be sure to block it once your project is finished and it should be fine!

I've recently gotten into crocheting and am working on a granny square shawl thing. I also learned how to crochet with seed beads. It's really tedious but pays off in the end!

It's nice to get into something thats not drawing.

That's so cool! I've maybe got an inch and a half done on my afghan on my lap loom. It's very tedious but it's nice to have something repetitive to do with my hands during my down time.

Frankly speaking, knitting or crocheting is very difficult for me. Honestly, I would decide to learn this by myself, but I don't have enough patience and the result is far from expected. Maybe, it's better to sign up for some special courses, and possibly I'll have a better result when I will work in the collective with like-minded people. More than that, I even have read the Best Knitting Machine Reviews and I decided that this device could help me and it will greatly facilitate the work. I stopped on Addi Express King Size Knitting Machine. Has anyone used them? What can you say about it?

I do crochet / knitting but the things I've only done are amigurumis -- or those small stuffed animals

I have been crocheting a granny square every day this year and other things.
I sometimes even write my own patterns, they are pretty basic though! (and are usually in Dutch)
