Myung: I would prefer if we all stayed here instead, but I technically can’t stop any of you.
Sang: Just pretend she’s not here.
Seok: Consider it?! Are you insane?! She’s going to get us all killed, starting with me and you!
Pierce: How are you going to hold her? Fuchsia has to sleep eventually, and then what?
*The idol opened his mouth to protest when he heard the doorbell. He thought it odd that the pizza was ready so soon, but he gladly accepted the distraction.
Seok: *Moving towards the living room to answer the door and shooting a dangerous glare back at Pierce. If anyone gets hurt again, I hope you’re the first to die.
*Shoving his hand in ‘his’ pockets, he pulled open the door to greet the deliveryman. But rather than facing some scrawny teen with a pizza and a stained uniform, he was met with a much older man with solid black hair and bright, friendly blue eyes, a young man that resembled him standing at his side.
???: Sorry to trouble you. *The older man offered Seok a small but vicious grin, his eyes flashing in amusement. I’m looking for someone. Have you seen my daughter?
*The son flinched beside him and fidgeted in clear discomfort, blue eyes darting back and forth like a frightened animal. Seok took a full step back. A shudder ran down the idol’s spine, and as if he’d been invited in, the old man shouldered his way past the door and made his way into the living room.
*His eyes glanced briefly at Amaris, and one of the corners of his mouth tilted up in a sinister half-smile. The twenty-something-year-old beside him wrung his hands at the sight and snickered under his breath. A sharp glare from his father quickly silenced him, and then the old man’s smile returned as if it had always been there.
Old man: I’m looking for my daughter. Has anyone seen her?
*Pierce poked her head around the corner at the familiar voice, brightening up almost immediately.
*Her brother flinched again, stepping back as she ran forward and hugged the man beside him. Rather than hugging her back completely, her father merely rested one hand on her back and smiled in a way that didn’t meet his eyes.
Old man: We missed you. *He scanned the room, taking notice of her new clothes and belongings. Is this all you brought?
Pierce: *Pulling away to look up at him. Yeah! I...I know it’s a little out of uniform, but...does it look okay?
Old man: Of course. *He abhorred it.
