THIS.I’m in the process of making a historical romance, so naturally I have to do a lot of research, and sometimes this research really gets to me. Then I sit down and draw these really silly scrappy historical comics where I try to process everything I have just found out. They really started out as a silly coping mechanism for me, but now my friends love them and tell me I should post them I think that would be a bit inappropriate because I use a ton of dark humor to deal with this stuff, but I guess I can post a few panelsAnd my most favorite panel of all times:My favorite panel silliness wise I mean!!! I’m not some weird nazi fan or anything
History can be really depressing research, but necessary in this line of work for accuracy sake
Yes, unfortunately. Then again, getting depressed from all this research really helps with creating some new turns and plot twists for the story… even if it gets very dark very fast.
well, feeling the emotions and taking them seriously would help. getting depressed from your work isn't good for you as the writer, and you should always take care of your mental and emotional health, even when you're working
Wasn't sure if that was hitler's nose or mustache lol
Here's some silly art...
Every single Haru and Tsukasa episode is silly and fun. I like to make my readers happy!I mean, take a look at my latest comic! It's absurd!
More flower art. I drew this rose from memory
I tend to go black and white for my sillier little comicsOverall my style is generally pretty cartoony
I draw most of my goober art in my sketch book but these ones are my favourite ones!
These are oldies but goodies in my eyes
is it weird that I don't find the cat creepy lol?
Drew a violet
Out of pure randomness, I made this:
He's an egg who refuses to hatch and just wants to stay in the shell forever. For him to eat, the round thing in his belly(?) serves as a porthole that can vacuum up food. Although I guess it doesn't matter since this whole concept runs on nonsensium anyway.
This is hilarious and adorable XDDD
This makes me happy
This is just so sweet it makes me happy
I love this art style tbh
I used to draw a lot of plus-sized fashionistas as a method of self-healing. It taught me to stop seeing "fat" and "beautiful" as antonyms. I hadn't done that in a while so I decided to draw another one yesterday in homage to the old style.
