I'm glad I finished 4 full chapters of a comic I've been thinking about for a decade now.
On top of that, people got to read it and actually enjoy it. Yes!

My own victories:

I finished my 100% silly sideproject-comic! There is one thing in it I'm thinking of going back and changing, but beyond that - heck yes! Project done! I overcame my own anxieties and emailed important stuff to people (which doesn't sound like a big thing, but it is to me), I took on a work-project with a super-short deadline, and smashed that deadline like it was no big thing. I also managed to sit through an entire dinner with a person I really don't get along with, without arguing or fighting, which is quite the achievement as I have a hard time not being honest about my opinions.

As for emailing important things, trust me that's a huge thing-- half the reason I didn't finish college was because I suffer from crippling anxiety, so the fact that you powered through is super inspiring.

As for me, after 2 years of vowing never to draw comics again, I drew one. On a whim I entered it in the SCI-FI contest on webtoon. I found out on Tuesday that I made the semi-finals. It's been a crazy wonderful experience - so I think this time I might keep drawing haha.

@orribu This is such a cute idea, congrats to you and everyone that's posted, all your stories are super inspiring!

I actually quit comics a few years ago after some not-great people were really mean about my work and told me I should stop, which really knocked my confidence and made my anxiety about it worse. This is the first big comic I've managed to do since then - I've now done like 80 pages total, and I'm actually feeling okay about my work, so that's a big deal for me!

Also I just finished my first ever children's book commission which involved scary client emails I had to send. So that was cool! C:

Hi Nat! Yeah, you can read the comic here! Actually only about 60-70 pages are posted so far, I have the rest scheduled for while I'm at work during August. I'm still improving, but pretty pleased with it.

I can't believe I forgot to write back! I read your comic! I actually like it a lot. I think it's great that you really stick with the whole adventure game style. I'd say try and stick with it when it comes to the lettering as well? The story has the feel of an older, more pixelated game (think Supermario on Nintendo) maybe research there, how the text was displayed? I think it's hella cool that you animate certain scenes and that you use a a specific texture for all images. Keep up the good work!

I finally got around to uploading two of the webcomics I was making. Not that I got anyone to look at them. But, it's just how it goes, some good comics don't get the views they deserve. (Mine isn't THAT good but still lol) It's a personal victory because I actually uploaded them and have updated them a couple times since.
